DESCRIPTION
This piece was designed and made at Rhode Island, USA, by Beau Silver. The leaf form is a well balanced design with wonderful naturalistic engraving from the very early days of Beau Silver. The leaf has almost modernist cues with its free form lines. An unusual Beau design made circa. late 1940’s.

‘Beau Sterling’
This company traded under the name Beaucraft Inc and was in operation until 2004. Based in Providence, Rhode Island, Beaucraft Inc was set up in 1947 and produced a fantastic range of jewellery. The main emphasis was on brooches and charms with a modernistic and/or naturalistic theme, as you can see from this lovely stylised leaf brooch above.

CONDITION

In fabulous original condition overall with no scratches or damage at all. Engraving is nice and bright and retains all its silvered lustre.
